Subject: [jsc-skydivers] Second Aircraft??
Good day everyone,
We have come to a stage where we find JSC running out of lift capacity over
busy weekends and we are currently looking at the possibility of bringing in
a second aircraft over peak times.
The only other aircraft available for this coming weekend, is another Pac
similar to the one we are currently using. The 2nd Pac can be supplied by
Nature Link and comes at a substantial ferry fee and higher slot rate, i.e.
R220.00 per slot with a minimum slot average of 11 skydivers per load.
Due the above, and given that there still is enough interest amongst our
members, we will have to up our slot rate to R210.00 per slot to standardize
the slot rate across the board on both aircraft. In order to absorb the
Ferry fee for the additional Pac, we will have to run it for at least three
consecutive weekends. Nature Link agreed to their Pac then staying at JSC
for the full period. Do keep in mind that even at the adjusted slot rate, we
will still be running R20.00 cheaper per slot than some other drop zones.
Lizette is currently busy compiling manifest and will keep us informed.
Should there be enough interest we will be running two great turbines for
the next three weeks.
Guys, we need to confirm the 2nd Pac tomorrow morning, so please mail
Lizette with your pre-manifest requirements as quick as you can as she still
has to combine the manifest and calculate our numbers. This is a great
opportunity for the Tandem Operators to catch up. J
Lizette, should we not get enough slots to accommodate the second Pac, I
suggest we work on a "last in first out" basis to keep it fair (in case of
too many bookings for the current Pac).
Come on guys, let's play!
