It seems fairly quiet up there on the mountain these days. Thank
goodness! At least from a mugging perspective that is.
I'll tell you that the latest action now borders on the fringes of the
mountain - for those of us lucky (or unlucky) enough to live right on

Cyclist Accosted - Rhodes Mem

A cyclist riding on the mountain this morning (sat 11 July) - making
his way up Plum Pudding Hill from the Cape Town side - was accosted by
2 black men with knives. They wanted his cellphone and money - weren't
interested in the bike. They only took his phone and in parting
slashed the back tyre of his bike.... more »

Very Good News !!! Kalk Bay Muggers taken down

Hi Everyone
We heard tonight that the two Kalk Bay Amphitheatre muggers - with
evidence on them - have been arrested. The arrest was affected by the
TMNP Security Team. Both criminals were positively identified by
victims.
Awesome news indeed. Congratulations to Hilton and his team.

While you are all running around various parts of the old mountain
please be aware of this warning:
- Attacks occurred previous two weekends
- Silvermine East … Amphitheatre area / Waterfall area
- Weapons involved – firearm
- Late afternoons it seems

Last year when we challenged TMNP on the poor state of signage below India Venster I was sarcastically asked by Brett whether I "was a mountain climber". and then booted out of his board room. Multiple attacks on Lions Head today

Hello Again
Bad news I'm afraid. Two more attacks occured this morning - within
minutes of each other - on Lions Head. First a group of 4 German
tourists were attacked and then a group of British tourists (2). No-
one was injured. Cameras, phones, id docs, backpacks etc. etc. were
taken.
